At Live to your Living Room, we’re pleased to work with a range of music venues across the UK.
Not only do we work with them to livestream fantastic folk, roots, and acoustic gigs, but we also support them to attract wider, more diverse audiences through our consultancy work.
Earlier this year, we welcomed the wonderful Foxlowe Arts Centre in Leek into our network. A community-run arts centre, Foxlowe Arts Centre hosted Nancy Kerr and James Fagan’s 30th anniversary show, and will soon be showcasing Jacqui McShee’s Pentangle in the first show of the 2026/2027 season.
We caught up with Foxlowe Arts Centre to talk about why it chose to partner with us and why it’s so important to support your local community arts venue.

We’re so happy that you’ve come on board as a partner, championing the benefits of livestreamed music for those who are unable to attend gigs in person. What made you decide to join forces with Live to your Living Room?
As an arts and music venue, we’re always looking for ways to improve the services we offer as well as make a wider audience aware not just about us, but the artists who play here.
When Live to your Living Room approached us, we jumped at the chance to get involved. Livestreaming is just such a great way for music lovers to see live shows if they cannot attend in person for any reason.
As well as hosting gigs, you’re a community venue for people in the heart of Leek – an art gallery, business hub, and even a café. How can people support community hubs like yours up and down the country?
Even the little things add up. Pay us a visit. Buy a coffee or a cake. Attend a show, exhibition, or a film. Jump on our social media and sing our praises far and wide!
Speaking of your café, it gets rave reviews online! What food would you recommend for the first-timer coming to check you out?
It depends on when you visit and how much time you have. A full-English oatcake is delicious and a signature Staffordshire dish! The Mexican prawn salad is a hearty treat. Alternatively, a coffee or a cup of tea and a home-baked cake if you’re in a hurry!
What new developments are on the cards for Foxlowe Arts Centre?
We’ve recently launched some music projects focused on young people. There’s a fortnightly ‘open mic’ session for 12 to 24-year-olds, and Mix & Master DJ workshops for 13 to 18-year-olds.
