The nights may be getting colder and darker, but Live to your Living Room has a range of evening gigs lined up that are cosier and warmer than a pumpkin spice latte!
Our 2026/2027 programme of events kicks off at the start of September, and we’re offering a selection of amazing artists that you can enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
September 2026
We’re delighted to welcome Jacqui McShee’s Pentangle on Saturday 5 September. Combining folk, jazz, rock, and blues, this band still sounds as fresh and innovative as sixty years ago.
We travel to beautiful Ulverston on Tuesday 8 September for Furness Tradition Folk Festival, where banjoist Dan Walsh will be playing. Known for playing with folk superstars including Seasick Steve and Imelda May, as well as with The Urban Folk Quartet, Dan’s modern and eclectic approach to folk is the perfect accompaniment to the cooler autumn nights.
The folk world is known for its stunning collaborations, and on Friday 11 September, we welcome Jenny Sturgeon and M G Boulter, two accomplished singer-songwriters at the top of their game, showcasing their new album, Wild Convenor.
Live to your Living Room favourite Phil Beer takes to the stage on Saturday 19 September. Supported by special guest Sarah Yeo, enjoy Phil’s passionate approach to folk music, accompanied by lots of heart and humour.
October 2026
We start the month as we mean to go on with a wonderful show on Thursday 1 October, courtesy of folk trio Tarren. This group of Bristol-based musicians started collaborating online during the 2021 lockdowns, and now have taken their blend of contemporary and traditional folk all around the UK.
Make sure you’re free on Thursday 8 October as we say hello to the sublime Moonrakers. Established in 1998, this quartet has featured on TV soundtracks, realised five commercially produced albums, and runs multi-instrumental courses all across the country.
We visit Cecil House on Saturday 17 October for the EFDSS Black British Folk Takeover; a day that celebrates the joy, warm, and love of Black British folk through songs, workshops, and conversation. Curated by Angeline Morrison, the day features artists including Andrew Baird, Hamilton Gross, and Daudi Matsiko, as well as a very special guest to be announced soon!
Come with us to Furness Folk Festival on Tuesday 20 October for a wonderful performance by influential American fiddle duo Darol Anger and Bruce Molsky. Best known for their work in the Grammy-nominated Fiddlers 4, enjoy an evening of folk, fiddles, and fun!
Enjoy another amazing collaboration on Wednesday 21 October, with global folk collective Mishra and vocalist Deepa Shakthi. Swirling Celtic rhythms, hypnotic vocals, and exhilarating songs that celebrate the very best of folk and world music.
November 2026
Take a joyous stroll through history on Sunday 8 November with Tom Kitching and Jennifer Reid and their latest show, Bitter & Mild. A whistle-stop tour of the folk music of the North West, this gig will take you from the rolling landscapes of rural Cheshire to the factories of central Manchester, with several stops along the way!
Steeleye Span alumnus Peter Knight played an amazing gig this time last year with John Spiers, and we’re pleased to welcome him back on Saturday 14 October as part of the Gigspanner Trio! The band will be showcasing their long-awaited new album, as well as all of your favourite songs.
We love a supergroup at Live to your Living Room, and freshly-formed Sãwol take to the stage on Friday 20 November, in collaboration with our friends at Live at Sams. Consisting of folk legends Fi Fraser, Jess Arrowsmith, Nancy Kerr, Rosie Butler-Hall, and Sarah Matthews, this will be a show to remember!
