Join Live to your Living Room for a day of inclusivity in teaching folk music

Oct 22, 2026

Live to your Living Room is livestreaming a folk education development day about inclusive music-making on Wednesday 4 November.

The session is presented by the English Folk Dance & Song Society’s (EFDSS) Folk Education Network, in partnership with Entrust Music Service Staffordshire.

We are livestreaming the event, which features a wide range of experienced speakers, including Live to your Living Room’s own Cat McGill.

A lively and informative session, the day is designed for people who run music sessions, events or classes and want to support disabled and neurodivergent people to join them. It is also an ideal session for people who work with disabled and neurodivergent people and want to introduce music making to them.

EFDSS and Live to your Living Room are proud to work in partnership, with Live to your Living Room not only livestreaming folk education development day events, but also music events at Cecil Sharp House, including the upcoming Festive Gathering.

Find out more about the event and book your free spot (either in-person or online) on the EFDSS website.
